Douro means "golden" because as the sun sets, the river looks golden. Lovely! This Original poster "The kiss" by René Vincent was commissioned in the early 1930's by Adriano Ramos Pinto, as part of his cutting edge advertising campaign. How perfectly Portuguese! The tiles measure 3.4 cm long. They are made of polymer clay and are both waterproof and lightweight. Take a little bit of Portugal home with you!
